Tallassee, AL – September 2, 2022 - This September, Neptune Technology Group will be celebrating the 50th anniversary of the relocation of its headquarters, manufacturing facility, and foundry to Tallassee, Alabama. Opened in June of 1972, the fully integrated facility affords Neptune the unique advantage of being involved in every aspect of the water metrology manufacturing process.

Neptune has developed many industry firsts and innovations from the Tallassee facility. The location has further allowed the company to create solutions that help customers win their day with products, systems, software, and services that stand the test of time.

“Creating our own state-of-the-art facility was critical to maintaining our position as the leading provider of meter reading systems and water measurement products so that we could continue to be our customers’ most valued partner. A welcomed addition to Elmore County, Neptune initially employed 140 residents, and has enjoyed steady growth in the employee population for the last 50 years.
