The Town of Moosonee had no installed water meters and billed on a flat rate. After installing 650 water meters throughout the community as part of Neptune’s R900® System for mobile AMR, the Town saw a 20% reduction of average daily flow rates and a 10% reduction in wastewater volume. Be being able to track water consumption, residents are aware of their usage and can better conserve water. Additionally, all meters can be read in about an hour and a half, saving time and resources.
