The Town of Fort Erie, Ontario Water Distribution System was faced with a system full of inaccurate or invalid manual meter readings, over 1,200 outstanding work orders, bi-monthly billing, and leaks and excess irrigation that could continue unchecked for weeks at a time. With Neptune’s R900® System for walk-by/mobile AMR, the Town has more time to address other utility issues, and has realized a 98% reduction in errors. It has also implemented monthly billing, improving cash flow, and now regularly uses data logging to graph leaks and irrigation system usage.
