Neptune’s R900® Mobile AMR Makes Up for Lost Time – and Water
The Dinwiddie County Water Authority’s manual meter reading process was labor-intensive and inefficient, taking upwards of three weeks, making on time monthly billing difficult. After replacing its direct read system with Neptune’s R900® System for mobile AMR, the Authority’s full-time reader retired. There was no need to replace the position, so a part-time meter reader can perform all meter readings in a day or two. In addition, customer service is boosted by using data logging to show customers their usage patterns as well as possible leaks.
