Phased-In Migration to System-Wide R900® Mobile AMR
As part of a universal metering plan to reduce consumption and create equitable billing, Cape Breton Regional Municipality (CBRM) began a phased migration to Neptune’s R900® mobile AMR across its system. With a 100% read success rate and metering 27 times more efficient in RF-metered areas, the Utility has implemented a successful active leak program, substantiating minimum nighttime flows for distribution and helping isolate abnormal flows.
