Neptune Connections Winter 2018 | Neptune Technology Group

A Year of Winning Days

It's been a great year at Neptune®. And a great year for Neptune customers. Early in 2018, we launched an all-new website and rebranding to help reinforce that everything we do is focused on listening to your needs and then helping to solve your unique challenges so that you can "win your day."

In July, we moved into our new Atlanta Innovation Center, where we've gathered many of the water industry's most talented software engineers, IT experts, and thought leaders together. Each day, they're inspired to design new solutions for your utility's unique business challenges.

In September, our Users' Conference kept the excitement going. Our customers continue to move towards creating Smart Cities empowered through Neptune technology. We introduced our cloud-based data platform, Neptune® 360™, which helps turn information into action across the utility – without the burden of purchasing or maintaining servers.

Throughout the year, we've put continued focus on how Neptune provides innovations designed specifically for the business of water. That includes our R900® Network-as-a-Service technology, the first LoRa Alliance™ certified solution for water utilities, making the transition to AMI easier than ever before.

I want to thank you for helping make this a year to remember. From all of us at Neptune, have a Joyful Holiday Season, Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Turn Information into Action with Neptune® 360

Quickly gain a deeper understanding of the data you collect from across your system. Then turn it into meaningful, actionable information. The cloud-based Neptune® 360™ data platform is tailored for the needs of water utilities.

Hosted and managed by Neptune, there's no installation required. All that's needed is an Internet browser to log on and access your data anywhere, at any time. You'll save the labor, time and the costs of buying and maintaining servers to run and store data.

Share More Information with More People

Successful Connections

This past September 9-11, attendees from across the country joined Neptune® for the 2018 CONNECT Users' Conference and Training in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Among the key topics they learned were:

• The Power of NaaS – how to focus on the business of water without the burden of maintaining and operating the AMI network infrastructure
• SaaS at Your Fingertips – the Neptune® 360™ cloud service increases resource efficiency and decreases utility expenditures
• Smart Cities 101 – how your utility can prepare and their vision for what a Smart City can be
• Data Security – the pitfalls and best practices to help you strengthen your approach
• AMR to AMI – Making the Transition – key areas to consider to make the most of existing assets
• Non-Revenue Water – what water audits can reveal and ways to use this information proactively to assess water usage
• Customer Issue: High Water Bill Complaints – proactively improving issue identification and resolution while increasing customer satisfaction

Utility customers saw how Neptune's MACH 10® and ProCoder™ can support "as-a-Service" solutions such as NaaS and SaaS. Each had the opportunity to talk one-on-one with Neptune experts and partners on issues regarding systems, software, and hardware. They also had the opportunity to network with their peers and share best practices.

The CONNECT Users' Conference was a huge success, informative, useful, and fun. Don't miss your chance to be a part of 2019 CONNECT – Sept. 29-Oct. 1, at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center in National Harbor, near Washington, DC.
